An agreement with ÞG contractor for the third phase of the construction of a five-storey office building on Alþingisreit was signed on 18 November. The agreement was signed by Steingrímur J. Sigfússon, Speaker of the Althingi, and Ragna Árnadóttir, Office Manager on behalf of the Althingi and on behalf of the contractor Þorvaldur Gissurarson, CEO of the ÞG Contractor.
ÞG works have already begun to settle themselves in the area and the project is expected to be completed by the end of April 2023.
