ÞG Verk is one of the largest contractor companies in Iceland. The company has a large number of apartments under construction in the capital area and in preparation in Akranes. ÞG Verk has been involved in the development of Vogabyggð from the beginning.
ÞG Verk started building Skektuvogur in Vogabyggð in 2018. Skektuvogur is today fully built with 73 apartments, most of which are sold. Construction has now begun in Arkarvogur where there will be 165 apartments. Work will soon begin on the last phase in Vogabyggð, which has almost 100 apartments by Kuggavogur. In Kuggavogur, the design is being completed and we are waiting for the building authorities to process the building permit application.
Another big project is in Urriðaholt in Garðabær, where about 100 apartments are under construction. The first apartments in that phase go on sale around Easter. Another project at ÞG verk is in Akranes, where 28 apartments will be built.
ÞG recently bought a plot of land in Sunnusmári, right by Smáralind, and 165 apartments will be built there. There will be great diversity in apartment sizes, many apartments will have a unique view and the location is very good in terms of services and transportation.
